Sharing the experiences on how to support the development of entrepreneurship competence in subject-specific courses
The online seminar was arranged on the 18th of November 2021 for lecturers of subject-specific courses in Tallinn University of Technology on the topic: How to support the entrepreneurial attitudes and behaviour of students in subject-specific courses. The lecturers of the Department of Business Administration shared their experience about supporting the development of entrepreneurial attitude and behaviour in Entrepreneurship Education and other specialised courses of the University (e.g. marketing, management, logistics etc). 22 lecturers expressed their interest towards the seminar. At the seminar the Entrepreneurship competence model and it’s structure was explained. Also practical exercises were used to explain how to embed the Entrepreneurship sub-competencies into the course programmes of general and subject-specific courses. The discussion was carried out about how to connect the development of Entrepreneurship sub-competencies with the topics of speciality courses, and particularly the competence of communication. The general feedback to the seminar was positive.
