For understanding the situation in the workplace as a learning environment (e.g. restrictive or expansive) the survey was conducted using WLE (workplace as a learning environment) tool among employees in each country. Workplace as a Learning Environment (WLE) survey (James & Holmes, 2012) was designed to identify aspects of the workplace that offer more expansive working environments and thereby provide better opportunities for developing skills and knowledge. This survey was integrated with the survey on the self-assessment of entrepreneurship competence (EC).
